quakes

earthquakes are so scary. and inconvenient. today I m sitting in my friends apartment in yokohama when the room starts shaking. I ran outside and down the stairs to the street where I stayed through the after shocks. the news is saying it was a 5.7er. you just feel like its going to get stronger and stronger until everything starts collapsing on itself. bad bad feeling.

anyhow, today I got a craving for a big ol burrito so I searched the net looking for foreign food stores in yokohama and tokyo. found Mondo Latina near shibuya, called them up and found out they do in fact sell tortillas. finding tortillas in japan is not an easy task. so I draw myself a little map to the store and head out only to realize halfway to the station that I dont know if trains are up and running again after the quake. of course, they re not. and Mondo Latina is closed on damn domingo, so I guess I ll have to wait until monday for my Mondo burrito. shisety.
